Louise Scott has lived and worked in the vibrant Scottish city of Glasgow for just two years. She is a member of the Glasgow Print Studio and the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. Previously she lived in Orkney for 17 years where she ran The Inkstone Gallery in the beautiful village of St Margaret’s Hope. She trained in Printmaking at Cheltenham College of Art and her work is predominantly copper plate etchings, which she creates using a sewing needle and a magnifying glass!
Her inspiration comes from natural and the animals that inhabit earth, air and water.
Went to British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate at the beginning of April and had a successful four days at the show selling my artwork. I then went onto Cambridge and down to Brighton before returning home to Glasg
